Year 7 - University of Liverpool visit, November 2017
Year 7 students spent a day at the University of Liverpool, finding out what University is all about. Student delegates spent time with students talking through University, what is offered and why they enjoy it so much. Students visited the Engineering Department at the University and found out about the land speed record that was set by University students.
Students also experienced a physics lecture and had lots of fun learning about atoms. The teaching staff were extremely impressed with the knowledge some of our students had about the subject and our students were impressed with the lecturers and the proactive experiments that they were invited to take part in.
On the way home, one student was overheard talking about University “when I go to University, I want to come here!”
