On Tuesday, 16th October, 80 student volunteers at Archbishop Beck Catholic College were trained in ‘how to save a life’ as part of the national ‘Restart a Heart’ Day.
The students from years 8, 9 and 10 undertook an hours training in CPR. A big thank you to nurse, Paula Carr, from Alder Hey who worked alongside three staff from Archbishop Beck - Debbie Allen, Lynne Coyne and Jane Taylor. All three staff had received training prior to the day at Alder Hey. The training will be rolled out to other students and year groups.
