On Thursday 19th September the College welcomed over 1000 visitors to the College Open Evening. They were given the opportunity to visit all the departments, speak to staff and ask the current students questions about their life in the College.
The headteacher, Paul Dickinson, gave a presentation to four full audiences about his educational beliefs, his expectations of the students and the incredible opportunities available to students in music, dance, drama, the arts and sport. He stressed the importance of the children who have nurtured their talents in our nearby, excellent primary schools to continue to develop their talents in secondary school. Mr. Hicks, one of our longest serving members of staff commented “there was a real sense of excitement and enthusiasm, for the College, from all the parents and pupils who attended on the evening”.
